 “Comments that show progress”

“Thanks to this group and all the walking we have done I feel fit enough to reapply for my driving license!” This is fantastic news for one member not only to feel fit enough but confident enough to do this too. This also shows another way that the groups activities is helping to benefit members and to help them progress.

“I enjoyed washing up today!” Says one man who finds it difficult to motivate himself at home otherwise enjoyed serving the purpose of the group and washed up after the BBQ albeit after encouragement, he was given many thanks!

“The group is growing, getting quite large now” 17 men today attending the Tuesday morning session.

Needs Identified in Group:

We have identified another suitable man who may benefit from our befrienders doing a home visit for. He is unable to leave his home easily enough to come to the group regularly, he did however used to come over 1 year ago to the centre, and therefore knows a few of the members. We are putting together a potential schedule for him.
